The current health and economic crisis offers an unfortunate reminder that we in the U.S. are not immune to the impacts of global ecological events. Climate Change, which once felt far and distant in space and time, is itself coming to crisis levels, as global experts have warned for some time now.

Cities (including JC) and states have targeted 2050 as a target for massive climate pollution reduction, but that's not soon enough.  Climate Scientists now say that we must accelerate our Action Timelines to 2030 ! We'll hear from members of the JC Climate Action Plan Working Groups on strategies for reducing our Energy, Transportation, and Waste emissions, including a presentation on the New JC Bike Master Plan.  

Together we will review opportunities to connect-the-dots across some of these recommended actions by Working Group Members, and point to a few Priority Actions we can pursue as individuals or via an SJC sponsored project / campaign.
