Special Event: Learn About Climate Justice & Community Resilience in Jackson Hill Main Street SID
Learn how sustainable design, economic development, and community-led solutions can help us create a stronger, more climate- resilient neighborhood and in this case business district. Jackson Hill Main Street (JHMS) is the largest business district in Jersey City and this new Gensler Climate Justice Action Plan represents two years of concerted community engagement and research, resulting in state of the art climate ready design recommendations which are ready to be implemented as a flexible menu of options to revitalize JHMS.
SJC is proud to have partnered on this initiative and hope to see much of the vision in this Action Plan manifested in the next several years, highlighting JHMS as a model for Jersey City and other urban centers across the US.
