SJC Hosting 2 City Hall Meetings This Fall To Build Project Teams - you are also welcome to join SJC’s Organizing Team.

Some of these projects are staffed and active but would be more effective with additional members.  We also have a couple of new projects that require more educational outreach to the public before they can be fully activated. This is a planning meeting to sync goals for 2018 - 2019 and is the perfect time to plug-in !

• Community Composting

• Community Solar

• LED Street Lights for JC (NEW)

Format of these evenings will start with a quick overview of each topic and what SJC activities have been thus far. Then we will move on to small breakout groups to discuss what that team would like to pursue - either similar projects or new project ideas the group comes up with.

SJC is Jersey City’s Community Green Team. We initiate collaborative neighborhood projects across the city and make our platform available to those who wish to work with us. We also partner with other groups and support initiatives that are helping to make Jersey City a more sustainable place to live and work.

Come early to say hello and meet some new people with similar interests. Everyone is welcome! Just bring your good ideas, some of your creative skills and willingness to get things done :-)
