Tax Deductibility of Donations Not Guaranteed: SJC has applied for, but has yet to receive, 501(c)(3) tax exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”). Any donations to SJC made after March 3, 2019 may be deductible for U.S. federal income tax purposes if SJC is ultimately granted 501(c)(3) tax exemption by the IRS; however, SJC cannot guarantee that the IRS will grant SJC 501(c)(3) tax exemption and there is a chance donations may not be deductible for federal income tax purposes.
